Commercial Customers

What payment options are available for my commercial utility account?

There are several ways you can pay on your commercial utility account:

 

By mail

You can pay your commercial utility account by mailing a check or money order payable to City Treasurer at:

Auto Pay

Businesses can pay their utility bills automatically from their checking or savings account. Large commercial customers need to contact the City Treasurer's office at 253-591-5847 to sign up for this service. Small businesses can click here for the enrollment form. From the file menu on your browser, print the form. Then fill out the form and attach either a voided check for a checking account or a voided savings deposit form for a savings account and return both to:

Customers who use AutoPay will still receive a regular billing statement that will indicate that the payment will be deducted from their bank account 10 calendar days after the billing date.

AutoPay will then become effective approximately two weeks after the completed form with the voided check or voided savings deposit slip is received. Once you are signed up the bill will state:

"Your bill amount will automatically be deducted from your bank account 10 days after the Bill Date." (This supersedes any other bill date on your billing statement.)

Paying in Person

You can pay in person at the Tacoma Public Utilities Administration Building at 3628 South 35th Street. When paying in person, you can use a credit card, cash, check or money order.

PayStation

To provide our customers with more payment options, our new PayStations allow you to pay your utility bill with cash, money order or check.    

PayStations are open at the Safeway locations listed below. You will need your account number to use the PayStation.  The automated PayStation will provide you with a receipt of every transaction as proof of payment. If you want to make a payment on more than one account, you will need to make separate payments.

2109 SW 336th St., Federal Way (corner of 21st Ave. & 335th St.) — open 5:00 am - 1:00 am

1112 South M St. — open 7:00 am to 11:00 pm

2637 North Pearl St. — open 24 hours 

3842 Bridgeport Way W., University Place — open 24 hours 

13308 Meridian E., Puyallup — open 24 hours
