Driving Directions to the Tacoma Municipal Building

747 Market Street, Tacoma, Washington 98402

  1. From southbound I-5, take the Tacoma City Center exit (# 133), which comes around the Tacoma Dome and on to I-705.

From northbound I-5, take the Tacoma City Center exit (# 133), on to I-705.

  1. From I-705, take the "A" Street exit.  This will put you directly onto "A" Street. 
    Get into the 2nd lane from the left.

  2. Proceed to 9th Street (5th light).

  3. Turn left onto 9th Street (up the hill)

  4. Go to Market Street (4th light) and turn right.

  5. Parking is available in a surface lot approximately mid-way in the block on the left-hand side of the road.

  6. Standing in the parking lot looking across Market Street,
    The tall 15 story tan building to your right is the Tacoma Municipal Building
    The shorter 5 story tan building directly in front of you is Tacoma Municipal Building North.

  7.  Cross the street, enter the building (you'll be on the 2nd floor).
