Jar Gifts
These jars are great to give as gifts stuffed full of yummy candy!

What
you need
- Clean, empty jars with their lids (glass or plastic)
- Craft paint
- Paintbrush
- "Painters" paint markers (optional)
- Candy
- Jewels, ribbons or beads (optional)
- Glue (if adding jewels, ribbons or beads)
How to make it
- First make sure the jar and lid are clean of all food and dry.
- Decide how you want to decorate the jar - for a birthday, a holiday or just
any day. Choose paint colors that will help represent that special occasion.
- Paint a design or message on your container. Paint the top and sides of the lid too. Let dry. (See photo)
Use glue to add beads or jewels if you wish and let dry for at least 2
hours.
- Choose a ribbon and tie it into a bow around the "neck" of the jar. (See photo)
- Fill with candy and give to someone special.
