- Question:
Can the city
provide the winning operator with a ticket sales history for the
past seven years divided show by show and with demographics of the
audience?
Answer:
This information
is held by the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA). A
request for sales, ticket and demographic history from the BCPA
could be made. The City does not keep records of this information.
- Question:
Can the city
provide and guarantee use of a listing of current contributors and
sponsors?
Answer:
Again, this
information is held by the BCPA. The City does not have listings of
their contributors or sponsors and therefore we could not guarantee
access and/or use of this information.
- Question:
Do you know if
the BCPA as entered into programming commitments for July 1, 2006 to
August 31, 2007, or are they planning to between now and January
10th?
Answer:
The BCPA is
working on the 2006/2007 schedule. The Pantages will be closed for
the lobby remodel this summer from June to early October. Any
contract information beyond May of 2006 would come from the BCPA.
- Question:
What are the
current commitments of the BCPA?
Answer:
The BCPA has
contracts for the remainder of the 2005/2006 season which runs to
May, 2006. They also have a separate agreement with the City for
the design and construction of the lobby remodel of the Pantages
scheduled for next summer. The BCPA is also working with the
resident arts groups for their 2006/2007 season.
